FBS Home Page

Welcome to the Friends of Butleigh School (FBS) home page.

The FBS is an organisation dedicated to raising funds.  We are a group of staff, parents, grandparents, friends, uncles and aunts all willing to give up their own free time to help fundraise for the children of Butleigh School.

We meet during term time to help organise all the various fundraising activities we do.

In the past the FBS has raised funds to provide:

• smart boards in every classroom
• new outdoor play equipment
• financial support for weekly swimming
• Shakespeare workshop for KS2 children
• insurance for after school sports and equipment

Each term teachers put together a 'wish list' of things they would like for the School but don't have funding for in the School budget.  We don't like to say no, which is why we are constantly organising events!

So please be patient when your child comes home with yet another sponsor form or request for cakes - it all helps and the children are involved in the process.  Our children are very lucky to have such supportive families and friends.  Thank you for your efforts.
