Beyond the Curriculum

At Butleigh we offer the full national curriculum and a great deal more besides.  Here are just some of the things on offer at our school over and above the usual curriculum:

A session with a specialist sports coach once a week for every child in the school

Swimming lessons once a week throughout the year

Regular trips and visits for all children, whether in Reception or Year 6

French lessons with a visiting specialist teacher in the Junior classes

Specialist music lessons in the Junior classes

Individual or group instrumental music lessons on violin, flute, saxophone, clarinet, brass, guitar or voice
